Summary

This project provides a complete automatic packaging solution for dog food, covering bag sizes from 153 x 230 mm to 101 x153 mm and weights from 226 g. The combined machines include Horizontal Packing Machine, Multihead Weigher, Z Type Bucket Elevator, Bowl Conveyor and Takeaway Conveyor, the packing speed is 18-25 bags per minute.

Customer Challenge

A. There are zipper and round hanging hole on the pouch.

B. The customer required the total height of the machine to be below 3 meters.

C. The oxygen absorber need to fill into the pouch as well.

We provided a fully automatic horizontal doypack packaging line including:

To convey the products to the weighing machine

To fill the oxygen absorber one by one to the each bag.

Key Functions of the Horizontal Packing Machine

1. Hopper Shaker

Add an air valve on the hopper and shake it to let the products fill into the bags well.

2. Automatic Zipper Opener

To open the pouch with zipper.

3. Hot Ribbon Date Printer

Prints production date and batch code, maximum 2 lines, 11 characters per line, clear and durable.

Result

In order to meet the required height, there are two conveyors to integrate with the packing machine, the z type bucket elevator is used to convey the products to the multihead weigher, after weighing and filling, the bowl conveyor will carry the target products to the packing machine, so the final height of the packing machine system is 2745mm.
